Barnes Holistic - FAITH-BASED Holistic Counseling Therapeutic Services

Philosophy of Wellness

"When Needs Are Met, Relationships Flourish."

This is the foundation of our belief --- our client's mental health, spiritual health, and physical health needs are of the utmost importance for experiencing a balanced life. Our success is defined by how well we serve others and help individuals, families, and groups get their health needs met from a variety of therapies.

Our team is committed to meeting those needs, tailoring the therapeutic modality(ies) treatment planning protocol to the individual's therapy using a holistic (whole-person) model of wellness as founded in homeopathy by Samuel Hahnemann and Constantine Herring.  Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), the globally accepted work of Albert Ellis, its father, and other therapeutic modalities are utilized to provide a balanced holistic therapeutic approach to mental health.  Clinical diagnoses are based on the criteria as outlined in the DSM-V. More than half of our clients come to us from individual word of mouth referrals."   --- Dr. Wm. T. Barnes, PhD., DD, LHD.

"We welcome the opportunity to assist you with your spiritual, counseling, psychological, homeopathic psycho-educational, mental
health, and substance abuse support needs.

If you are fighting a difficult battle getting doctors to listen to you because you are dealing with a unique, odd, or unusually undetectable parasitic infection, please give us a call and let us assist you in getting relief.  We refer to pathologists around the country and in other countries who are able to assist you.

You are not alone!  Our infectious disease doctors have identified, supported, and treated Lyme Disease, nationally and internationally acquired zoonotic diseases (diseases transmitted from animals to humans), and use laboratories all over the US certified in tropical illnesses.  Millions of Americans are suffering from the misgivings of traditional medicine and are frustrated at the quick 6-minute assessment of their health status often finding no help for their conditions.  They are often being mislabeled, misdiagnosed, and wrongfully characterized as delusional. Parasites have been shown to cause mental and neurological symptoms according to the World Health Organization (WHO) and are present in every country.  According to the Journal of American Medicine, ONLY 17% of diagnoses made in doctors' offices are accurate and Only 1 in 5 lab tests are accurate.  There is a crisis in the dysfunctional "sick care" system of healthcare in America that needs to be overhauled and updated.

"All too often, illnesses like Morgellons, Lyme Disease, Taenias (tapeworm infection), and other blood-borne, waterborne, food-borne, tissue borne, & vector transmitted illnesses (diseases caused by insect and animal bites or contact) are said to be non-existent in the US by uninformed doctors.  This is not consistent with the nation's premier authority on disease---The Center For Disease Control, nor will any pet owner or veterinarian support this ridiculous notion, yet patients are made to suffer by the lack of attention to endemic illnesses." --- Dr. Robert Jakubik, PhD., LHD.

The outdoorsman, the hiker, the equestrian, the morning or evening golfer, the athlete, the jogger, and the urban dweller are all surrounded by wildlife.  Disease is being introduced through mosquitoes and is imported in the food supply from countries that use human feces to fertilize their fields, in workers without health care, and your animal (dog, cat, bird) is likely decreasing your health from being on the sofa, sleeping in your bed, licking you in your face, and the inhaling of their parasitic microscopic eggs.

Dr. Hulda Clarke, author of The Cure for All Cancers and The Cure for All Diseases, a brilliant pioneer in parasitic research and in the health field, found in her 50 years of treating patients, not one of her patients remained well following her treatments as long as they kept their animal in their home. She would have them temporarily send the pet to a friend while she treated her patient. The patient reported relapse once the animal was reintroduced back into the home living environment, following treatment.  Hanna Kroeger, author of Parasites: The Enemy Within will help you understand disease from a root cause perspective and discuss their impact on human emotions and behavior, often described by psychological psycho-babble disconnected from the reality of neurotoxins parasites release which can cause insomnia, restlessness, irritability, heightened agitation, schizophrenia, depression, anxiety, mood changes, a sense of not feeling well, fevers, flu-symptoms, weakened immunity, muscle spasms, subcutaneous nodules, edema, headaches, river blindness, liver cancer, pancreatic cancers, alcoholism, and more.  Simplistic explanations of diseases do not lead to holistic wellness and are the fraud of the 20th & 21st centuries, perpetuated by a flawed sick-care system of healthcare.

According to Dr. Robert Jakubik, PhD., "Mental symptoms are commonly associated with organic causes such as infections, toxins released from parasites, organ diseases they cause, and the body's own flight of fight nervous system response in awareness to something being wrong, as our Creator intended it to be.  It is our internal warning system to which we are to listen and respond.  Holistic counseling psychology integrates proven wellness approaches with talk therapy, Ayurveda, Western, Eastern, and so-called modern therapies based on research-based best practices in global wellness care."

Acts 17:26 (Amplified Bible)

We do consider and understand the special needs of persons with physical, emotional, and psychological challenges.  Our holistic counseling professionals work closely with medical professionals to ensure we are treating root causes of the presenting problem(s) not a symptom approach which according to the Journal for American Medical Association (JAMA) yields only a 17% accurate diagnostic rate in doctors' offices.

At Barnes Holistic Counseling Therapies Institute (BHCTI):

           1) The client is viewed as a spiritual being created in the awesome image of GOD, as we know and understand Him.

           2) The client is seen as a human being with spiritual, emotional, psychological/mental, biopsychosocial, physical, educational, financial/socio-economical, and intellectual needs that influence their capacity to adjust to environmental conditions and often facilitates or inhibits connections and bonding with others.

           3) The client is a physical being that must be nurtured, respected, and cared for holistically (spirit, mind, & body) in order to have a healthy expression in life.

The spirit, mind, and body frequently experiences emotional trauma, physical injury, organic degeneration, infection, and/or insult as a result of deprivation, genetics, negative life experiences, negative self-talk, low self-esteem, neglect, unmet needs, and present as organic deterioration and degenerative processes. We view all these processes as connected and must be treated in totality in order for the person to return to a balanced state of homeostasis which we refer to as wellness.

"WELLNESS"

Kahuhiro Sohji, Bridgeport university     The entire being must be treated.  As a result, our clients report a 98% satisfaction rate.  Many had been treated unsuccessfully by allopathic practitioners, psychologists, and psychiatrists whose training and field of knowledge offered toxic drugs as a solution.

Many allopathic doctors admit the "medical model" of disease is simply inadequate and ineffective as a single method or modality of treatmentFor some clients, to help temporarily stabilize them, allopathic drugs are necessary.  However, in only a relatively few diagnostic cases is it necessary for this to go on indefinitely.  Scientific research, including the studying of alternative methods of treatment from various cultures, is leading us back to recognizing the importance of plants, the rain forests, trace minerals, essential oils, flower essences, organic food as medicine, natural and homeopathic remedies, acupuncture, energy medicine, and spirituality as it relates to healing.

It is scientifically irresponsible to ignore the effects of long-term use of psychotropics, opioid pain killers, overprescribing of antibiotics, and other synthetic drugs.  The complications of long-term prescription drug use have proliferated addiction in America while making billions of dollars for pharmaceutical manufacturers, insurance companies, pain management clinics, pill mills, and allopathic doctors.

Problems for patients include but are not limited to tolerance, dependence, psychotic withdrawals, insomnia, loss of sex drive, confusion, dizziness, depression, decreased libido, anxiety, increased presentation of the behaviors being treated, worsening the condition, creating additional disorders or health conditions, and the possibility of increased risks for suicide or involvement with law enforcement.

These statements are supported by research articles published in the American Journal of Psychiatry, The Journal for the American Medical Association, The British Journal LANCET, The Journal for the American Pediatric Association, the Physician's Desk Reference, Bridgeport University (Bridgeport Connecticut), Yale University,  and countless Pharmaceutical Journals.

"The prevalence and appropriateness of acupuncture for addictions are well established. The US federal government’s Center for Substance Abuse Treatment (2007), the United Nations (2006), the State of New Mexico (Bigelow, 2008), as well as the US Department of Defense/Veteran’s Affairs (2010) have each published best practice guidelines that address the value of acupuncture for chemical dependency. (NADA - National Acupuncture Detoxification Association)...and have now approved this protocol for use in Community Mental Health to treat a variety of behavioral health issues."
