EVENT: Turkey giveaway & Festivities sponsored by the Southside Lawyer at the Old Sweetbay Shopping Plaza  Corner 22nd Street South and

Thank you Southside Lawyer for a very well planned and well-funded way of getting the community out.  You made a lot of people happy for Thanksgiving 2019.

The community ate and listened to music in anticipation of the BIG FREE Turkey Giveaway and the weather was perfect.

Registration for the Turkey Giveaway had been done by phone, but after 500 registrants, the phone stopped taking messages.  Oh Well, there were plenty of Turkeys to go around for the massive turnout.

Kids got to pet animals and have their faces painted.

Over 1000 Turkeys provided to the community.

Falling down and rolling around was a lot of fun for the young ones and the parents who got to watch those happy faces.

Rock climbing was an unexpected surprise.  The kids were eager to show their bravery and skills under very safe tethered conditions.

Ride that bull cowboy!

The disabled community was welcomed and came ready.  Hey!  Can I get one of those rides? :)  We have to do better about serving them instead of having them wait in their health conditions.  Just a suggestion.

WOW!  So many beautiful people.!

Everybody had fun and was in a festive mood!

The Food was delicious.  Thank you Mr. Unknown.
