Hello Partners & Friends of
Isabel Children's Foundation Uganda

My name is Elizabeth Mbamanye. My family and friends call me Isabel. I was born and raised in Kampala, Uganda, 🇺🇬 East of Africa🌍From a family of 6 sisters and 1 brother, I am the last born. I am the founder of Isabel Children's Foundation Uganda,

    * A charity organization aiming at improving the lives of vulnerable children living on streets and other

      poor communities in East Africa.
    * We are providing support to the less disadvantaged kids with necessary basic requirements and

needs for example. Food, shelter, clothes, shoes, bedding, school supplies, etc.
    * We empower children to live a healthier life through priority programs

and empowered programs through education and many more.
    * We nurture and promote children's talents
    * We advocate for children's rights through protection campaigns aimed at increasing awareness of the

government and society at large in protecting kids from violence, negligence, and child labor abuse.

    * We develop programs to help sensitize parents on the values of child education and conduct

activities aimed at helping needy kids in terms of education, nutrition, and child support for orphans

and other disadvantaged children, in poor communities.

Serving humanity is one thing I have always loved to do since I was a small girl as I grew up besides it being a divine calling from God.

I'm passionate about people, especially children who are going through difficult challenges in the various stages of their lives.  Life seems to be so unfair to underprivileged children who have no access to basic necessities.  I know!  I was once there myself, so I know what it feels like to lack one piece of clothing, almost going around naked, sleeping on streets of verandas, and dropping out of school. It's terrifying going to sleep on an empty stomach not knowing where the next meal will come from.  I know, first-hand, what it feels like to be molested, abused, neglected, violated, repeatedly sexually assaulted, physically, emotionally, and mentally abused, and observed helplessly very young girls being impregnated and forced into early child marriages.

My heart melts, and it's devastating seeing these innocent souls going through all that, having no hope. So much agony, sorrow, etc. We advocate for these children's rights and protect and support them with the little things that we can manage.

I am a voice for the voiceless. At ICFU, we show these often abused children love and compassionate care. I cannot change the whole world, but we can change a life of a child, feed a child, and educate a child. These children are the future leaders of Uganda for the next generation. Together, we can make a difference!

Jesus saved me from the hands of the enemy and I'm sharing the same love with the vulnerable and spreading the Gospel through serving humanity and helping the less fortunate.

I am calling upon all of you Children of GOD to give us a hand and support this great cause. Every dollar counts and there is no small amount.  We also accept other donations like children's clothes, shoes, men's and women's clothes, food, school supplies, toys, and every other thing that could be of help. God bless you all.  THANK YOU!   -- ISABEL.
